Through this ministry, Pastor Denise leads annual retreats, conferences, and symposiums, as well as monthly classes, creating spaces for growth, empowerment, and spiritual renewal.
Her dedication has not gone unnoticed. In 2024, Pastor Carpenter was honored with The President’s Lifetime Achievement Award from President Joseph R. Biden, recognizing her lifelong commitment to building a stronger nation through volunteer service.
Beyond her ministry, Pastor Carpenter has shared 51 years of marriage with Reverend Timothy Carpenter. They are the proud parents of two adult daughters and the joyful grandparents of six beautiful grandchildren.
